On 1st
September 2014, Kowloon Motor Bus issued a press release introducing
its first 6th generation environmentally friendly hybrid bus, described
by the company as the 'hBus'.
The bus
arrived in Hong Kong a few days later, on 5th September, and was
officially unveiled to to public in an event held on 13th September, at
which the following photographs were taken.

On
29th October
2014 the bus was allocated the fleet number ATH1 and registered TA2344.
Two days later a second example was registered and the third followed
on 2nd December 2014.
