The model - this is one of two MCV D123 bodied Volvo
B8Ls
announced by Kowloon Motor Bus on 23rd June 2025, the other
featuring V6B204 (KMB2025014).
The models went on sale through the KMB on-line shop on 26th June and
were soon shown to be 'out of stock'. The models became available on 28th June.
The
bus
-
the first glimpses of these buses, in a retro livery, was in Egypt in
January 2024 where fourteen of the type were noted - see the following page in the XTRA
section of the site for photographs taken in Egypt. It wasn't until
26th February 2025 when five of the type were registered by Kowloon
Motor Bus, with V6B204 being the first numerically in the fleet.
