My special
thanks to Mini Pointer Dart
for providing the following information on this range of coaches.
To-date it is
believed there have been five
models of Xian Silver's product. The first, thought to have been issued
in 2005, is this 1/76 scale Volvo B10M. This certificated model is
limited
to 500 pieces and comes in a blue Volvo box. It sits on a wooden effect
plinth. The limited edition certificate is I believe on the underside
of
the plinth and the same limited edition number is displayed as the
front
registration number. The rear registration number reads B10M.
This 1/54 scale
model of the 9300 was produced
in 2006. This model was purchased in Guangzhou and is the
first 9300
model in the market. Further details including date of release,
quantity,
or manufacturer of this model are unknown - the box shows Xian Silver
Bus
Corporation.
Next is another
livery on the same casting
which was bought second hand in Hong Kong, so the condition of this
model
is not prefect. Again, very little information is known, but it is
believed
to have been issued in 2009. It is also understood to be very rare!
The next model
is a 1/54 scale 9600. The
9600 is the latest product of Xian Silver Bus which based on the Volvo
B9R chassis. It was released in 2009. This model was purchased from a
model
retail shop in ShenZhen. It carries a sharp blue livery, and displays
'Volvo
Ocean Race 2008-2009' lettering.
This 1/43 scale
9300 was released in December
2010. This is the first 1/43 model of Silver Bus (most china coaches
models
are to 1/43 scale).
