The
Regional Transportation Commission
of Southern Nevada (RTC) launched a new Double Decker bus service on
the
Las Vegas Strip in true Las Vegas fashion on 27th October
2005.
FAST FACTS about
the service:
Route: The DEUCE will
make a 17.25-mile
loop along the Strip, from the South Strip Transfer Terminal at the
south
end of the Strip to the Downtown Transportation Center at the north end
of the Strip. It will make 73 stops along the route.
Price:A day pass is $5
and one-ride is $2.
A monthly pass is currently $30, changing to $40 December 1.
Tickets: Tickets can be
purchased on buses,
and starting in December, tickets will be available at DEUCE ticket
vending
machines located at each bus stop on the Las Vegas Strip.
